I certainly agree with you here, you have highlighted a crucial point. Our purpose is our life compass which guides us on what career path to follow and ultimately also guides our decisions in life. If there is anything we should ever work to discover it is our life purpose.

What a wonderful word, dear Tim. As I read what Father was wording through you by His Spirit, those words resonated in my spirit because!!! they are HIS words.
It has occured to me that there are some with whom I am "careful", because (for some reason) I do not want to say the "wrong" thing. In some cases, am sure it is Father checking the words because the hearer is not ready to hear them. I have no difficulty with that. But there are other times when I wonder if I hold back because of the possibility of disapproval. That should not be - the only approval that has any value is that of my Father....and I am so thankful thet He does approve of me (after all, I am His beloved child).
Anyway, I do apprciate what you write (an indication of your thoughts...), and thank the Lord for the gift of you as a dear brother in my life.
I also read the writing that you sent as an attachment, and that was exciting - what a joy to have confirmed again (and again) what we know is true. ALL is of the Lord; He alone can accomplish what is needed. I rejoice with praise and thanksgiving.
The only "caveat" I had was when I read the words, "I cannot do anything unless you let Me," and "I can work only if you allow Me." Yes, I know that the majority of believers agree with that, but...I cannot. HE is sovereign, NOT Joanne. Nowhere in scripture do I read that God is helpless unless we "let" Him do anything.
That is one (of several) stand I take about Him who IS the Rock, Him who "does whatever HE pleases." I do not argue, for, to me, it is a settled issue.
Why was it in that "word of the Lord" to that man" Because what he believes colours what he hears (as it does with everyone. Thus the myriad translations).
But the oore of those words spoke wonders, and I appreciate your sharing it.
Christ in you, as you, through you, Tim, shines with an ever greater, shining light.
THANK YOU.
Joanne

This blog is an absolute POOL of REFRESHMENT. Midst the clamor and confusion of many voices, it stands out as beautiful and PURE and the Rose of Sharon Himself. Thank you, Tim, for so thoughtfully, and obviously prayerfully, putting this together for us. Blessings ~ diana summers

Being transformed (metamorphosed) from glory to glory - GLORIOUS!! And we ARE BEING metamorphosed into His likeness. The Arthur Way translation puts 2 Cor. 3:18 this way: "ALL of us, with face unveiled, gazing on the mirrored glory of our Lord, are hourly being transformed into the same likeness, from a mere reflected glory into an inherent glory, as may well be, since it proceeds from the Lord the Spirit."
Dear Tim (this is the comment had meant to put here - and will see if I am successful this time.)
PTL and blessings. Will try again, on your website, to write a comment - was on if Jesus is God - but had trouble putting in my blog address, and...well, was a bit weary of trying to do things correctly), and so...Will try again.
My comment, in part, is...if Jesus is God, and could not sin, then the whole thing was a charade. If He could have sinned, and did not (He was tempted in like manner as we are), then...it was a real life lived in the power of His Father, and He relates to me. Rom. 8:3 does say that God sent His own Son in the likeness of sin's flesh...which intimates He was subject to the same things as we are. The wonder of it all is - He lives IN us, AS us, THROUGH us...HIS life IN us. Hallelujah.
Well, have learned not to argue about such things...it is something I can say that, for now, it is what Father has shown me. A joy to be able to be open with you, dear friend.
I do appreciate your wisdom, and the discernment Father has given you - you are a trustworthy source, and I am thankful for that.

What joy, Tim, to find your blog - somehow have missed it. Special, and edifying, and encouraging, and breathing out with the life, love, joy, peace of Christ.
This is a reminder that ALL have been called to BE - even those who seem to believe differently, to "hear a different drummer", who ARE His, in whatever form they presently have. I remember it saying in Mark 16:12 that Jesus would "take a different form", and be unfamiliar to those who knew Him. It reminds us to see Jesus Christ in each one, and to love each one right where he is.
You do that, which is something that blesses me. So many today are looking for error, for evil, for...welll whatever is not "Christian". Thank God that such were not around me when He was leading me to Him - a "good Methodist" that He (yes, it ws HE) took through Scientology and Reincarnation. In the end, it was the lack of peace, and some He put in my way who knew Him...REALLY knew Him.
And so, I do not judge - I love, forgive, and...pray...
Christ in His Tim form - His lover going forth to love, His blesser going forth to bless...His "lighthouse". Amen

You have called me to be whom you've called me to be,
A vessel unique yet integral to thee
No matter how small or large part I may be,
May I fullfill that which you've called.
Thank You Lord.
I love and appreciate you, my Brother.

Tim - I will continue to read this glorious, scriptural article until the day in which I am hopefully "changed" and resurrected or am simply taken back to Him. I love JESUS so much and delight in reading all of these wonderful descriptions of Him so beautifully condensed for us. I cannot think of anything so anointed. . .as HE is the ANOINTED ONE. I stand in awe as I behold Him in GLORY. . .Who is yet our Shepherd, Who continues to come to us at exactly the level on which we need Him. . .to carry us if needed! No words can portray the wonder and ways of JESUS CHRIST but you have come very close. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you abundantly ~ diana
